I am a self-proclaimed radical human and an aspiring astrophysicist. My current research is at the intersection of experimental aerospace instrumentation and national security. Past projects have included the simulation of binary stellar evolution, large scale galactic archaeology, and balloon-borne spectroscopic observation of "Hot Jupiter" exoplanets. I am also a DoD SMART scholar working for the RVBN division of the Air Force Research Laboratory. However, I have a penchant for teaching physics to the general public and cherish my ability to make complex topics understandable for anyone. Please see the teaching tab for more information about my media, public outreach, and tutoring roles.
